Multi-Factor Authentication

Kindertales uses Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to enhance account security by requiring an additional verification method via SMS, email, or an authenticator app. This security measure ensures that only authorized users can access personal information, providing greater protection and peace of mind for parents.

Starting October 29, 2025, Kindertales will begin rolling out Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to enhance the security of your account. By November 19, 2025, all Kindertales accounts will have MFA enabled. This added layer of security helps protect your personal information and ensures that only you have access to your account.

What is Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)?

MFA is a security feature that requires you to provide two or more verification factors to gain access to your account. This means that in addition to your password, you will need to verify your identity using another method, such as a code sent to your phone, email, or an authenticator app.

How to Set Up MFA

Once MFA is enabled for your account, you will be prompted to set it up the next time you log out and log back in. Follow these steps to complete the setup:

  1. Wait for Your Next Login: After your next log out, when you attempt to log back in, you will see a prompt to set up MFA.
  2. Choose Your Verification Method: You will have the option to select one of the following methods for MFA:MFA Method Choice
